Yoga has helped me immensely on my journey to recovery. I started doing yoga during my chemotherapy treatment because I thought it was going to be good for me….I didn’t know much about it…
At the beginning, my body was so weak….I hadn’t done any focused exercise in 6 years previous to my cancer. My body was a wreck…
But I kept showing up…every day…for 10 minutes….
Slowly I started getting stronger and 10 minutes became 20 minutes…
I stopped shaking in some of the poses and started getting stronger.
These days yoga is a very important part of my self care practices. I practice yoga between 3-4 times per week.
At the beginning of this year I had the opportunity to study to become a yoga teacher.
I grabbed the opportunity with my both hands and here I am today…
I learned so much…I couldn’t believe how much science there is behind it all…
I offer private classes via ZOOM to accommodate your own needs…
Some food for thought:
I have always practice yoga from home with virtual classes. After 1.5 years of practicing by myself at home, I decided to try a live class and I couldn’t believe how much I had grown as a yogi. So I got back to practicing at home so yes it is possible to practice virtually and to create some real growth physically and mentally.
I have always loved the fact that I could practice yoga in my piyamas (I still do that) and in the comfort of my own home
I will tailor the class to your physical and emotional needs after an initial discussion
