Ouch!
That is an overreaction isn’t it?
When you have a stressful reaction and the stress hormones get activated. It stays in your body for 5 hours and it shuts down your immune system for 5 hours…
Yeap…5 hours…
No immune system… no soldiers to fight anything that comes your way….
When I realised that stress was a third cause of my cancer diagnosis, I knew I needed to react differently to it…
I needed to find a different way to deal with the daily stresses of like….
How do you do that when it feels everything is coming our way all the time:

Unless you are a complete chill person, you are probably addicted to stress without even realising it.
You keep telling yourself things:
Work is stressful
Life is stressful
My family stresses me out
I am too stressed, I need a drink…
My kids stresses me out…
My pet stresses me out…
Your body is constantly looking for the next “stress high” as it is used to feeling stressed all the time.
This addiction comes from your body as you are used to being and feeling on flight and fight mode 24/7
Recognizing that is key if you want to change your reactions to life’s challenges

If you are not taking 5-10 minutes to gaze the sky, listen to a guided meditation or just to being, you are overworking your mind…
Your mind is never getting a break and things will be getting on top of you quicker…
You get stressed about smaller things and getting out of that cycle becomes even harder…

One of the first things people do when they want to torture people is to deprive them from sleep.
It seems like people do this these days as a tool to torturing themselves.
Whether you are following the latest guru’s advice on accomplishing more and sleeping less or if you just don’t prioritise your sleep…
You are torturing yourself daily…
Adding a major stress to your body…
Once more contributing to staying in the fight or flight mode more often than not.
