I remember the fist time I felt the stress in my bodyโ€ฆ
I was about to receive chemo and I had gone through a stressful encounter with people who I care about.
As I came home I felt the stress hormones running through my body for daysโ€ฆ
It was my worst chemo session….
I felt exhausted…
For the first time in my life I felt the stress hormonesโ€ฆ
And I realised that I had been treating my body with these hormones day in day out for the last 20 plus yearsโ€ฆ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ
I could feel the stress was dragging myself down…
even more than the actual chemo…
๐—œ ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ผ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น๐˜† ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ….
The chemo toxicity wasnโ€™t even close to the level of toxicity the stress produced in my bodyโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜ฒ
๐—œ ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น๐˜† ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น๐—ผ๐˜„ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ธ ๐—ถ๐—ปโ€ฆ.
While you think that
๐Ÿ‘‰living in stress is the only way of livingโ€ฆ
๐Ÿ‘‰you need to be stressed all the time to make s*** happenโ€ฆ.
๐Ÿ‘‰Being stressed is the definition of your worth and reality
I am here to tell you, it doesnโ€™t have to be that wayโ€ฆ
Since cancer, I have gone through many stressful situationsโ€ฆ
But I have also been using daily tools to keep on top of my stressโ€ฆ
Chances are life will keep throwing challenging things at youโ€ฆ
Thinking that you can live a life without challenges is an utopia.

If you donโ€™t do something daily to release your body and mind from itโ€ฆ
Before you know it, your whole body is covered with paper cuts.
