Starting…

the hardest….

Starting to exercise…

Starting to look for a new job…

Starting to lose weight…

Starting to change your diet…

Starting a conversation with a friend about your problems….

Just the thought of it, it makes us cringe doesn’t it?

It feels like you need to climb this mountain so high that you can’t even see the top…

So what do you do?

Go back to what you know…

What it is comfortable…

What it is easy…

If you are a self discipline person and have started some amazing things in your life…

I am talking about that part of you that you haven’t conquer it yet…

I am talking about that part of you that bothers you big time…

I am talking about that part of you where you feel stuck…

A little like when you hit a brick wall…

What I say to my clients is….

Commit yourself to what you can do sustainably….

Commit yourself to what it can become part of you…

These are not quick fixes…

They are not quick diets….

They don’t give you instant results….

They are just real…

These habit changes are here to stay…

You are committed to them fully in your mind, heart and soul…

Nothing is going to derail you from them…

Because you have anchored yourself in them…

So if you are trying to eat better….

that doesn’t mean going on a diet….

It means changing one meal at a time to a healthier meal…

If you are trying to have more energy…

that doesn’t mean going for a 5KM run everyday

It means starting with a walk for 10 minutes…

If you are wanting to confine your problems in someone…

That doesn’t mean going on facebook and telling the world your most terrible issues…

It means having a conversation with a close friend and starting to share your true self…

Starting is the hardest but once you start it is like learning how to ride a bike…

before you know it, it becomes easy…

before you know it, it becomes part of you…

We can all start and conquer whatever we want if we want it bad enough…

All you have to do is to stop the excuses…

Because when we really want something, we find a way…

Be honest to your self…

Acknowledge where you are at…

Anchor yourself in your real why…

And start…

One small step at a time…
